Moonstone - most people think of the famous rainbow moonstone variety whenever moonstone is mentioned:

However, there are plenty of other beautiful moonstone varieties:

All moonstones have the same shimmer, only visible from certain angles.

On the photo you can see my collection of crescent moon pendant and charms. These pieces are hand-cast here in Australia from premium, lead-free pewter.

Pewter is a great metal to add to your collection. The price is lower than sterling silver so you can afford a more substantial piece. Pewter doesn't tarnish, discolour or rust.

I like to combine pewter pendants with stainless steel necklaces, another affordable metal which doesn't tarnish or discolour.
